When my great great aunt gave me the turkey platter as a wedding gift that had been in the family for over 30 years, I displayed it with pride and honor. You could never imagine the hurt I felt when it was dropped while cleaning. My trinket box lid arrived safe and sound today. I wanted a drum roll as I unpacked the box! I opened the tissue paper and couldn't belive my eyes. My Desert Rose pieces that you repaired and restored arrived yesterday and while others who referred me to you for my problem were more than pleased with the results. I took a wait and see attitude. Rec'd my clown and how wonderful. I had to show it off to some friends! I, my husband and friends looked and looked and truly couldn't tell that the poor thing was ever broke!!!! I was wondering if you could give me an idea of the cost on another repair.....It's a clown.....I've been looking to replace it, but I would like to see the approx. cost to fix, especially after seeing the flower of my other clown. I received the dish just fine and was pleased with its appearance. Believe it or not, I was pleased to find that the dish really is china. For all I knew it could have come from a dime store. I was just a little girl when my mother received it as a gift and neither she nor I knew if it was a valuable piece or not. Thanks for fixing it up for me. It's back in my china cabinet now for safe keeping.
